Wear it well. Solid gold is durable enough for everyday life. 14k gives a richer, warmer gold tone, while 10k is a touch harder and more scratch-resistant, both are built to last.
Avoid chlorine. Pools and hot tubs are solid gold's one true enemy; chlorine can weaken the metal over time and lead to tiny stress cracks. Slip your pieces off before you get in.
Last on, first off. Still the golden rule, apply lotion and perfume before putting your jewelry on.
Clean at home. Soak in warm water with a drop of mild dish soap, gently work a soft toothbrush around the details, rinse, and dry with a soft cloth. A polishing cloth brings back the glow.
Store with care. Keep pieces in a lined box or pouch, separated from one another, to keep every surface smooth and scratch-free.
