Opal beads are hand strung on silk thread and no two necklaces are the same.  This piece is handmade so please allow 7-10 days for shipping. *opals are soft, porous stones so please remove before going into water or applying perfumes/lotions **colors vary greatly so message us with any preferences.

Every natural stone is one of a kind, shaped over thousands of years before it ever reached your hands. Each has its own personality and its own preferences so a little mindfulness keeps its color and character vivid.
Dress last. Apply perfume, lotion, and hairspray first; oils and chemicals can cloud or stain more porous stones like turquoise, opal, and pearl.
Keep water brief. Remove gemstone pieces before showering, swimming, or cleaning. Softer and porous stones especially don't like to soak.
Mind the light. Prolonged direct sunlight and heat can gradually fade certain stones, amethyst and rose quartz among them, so store them out of the sun.
Clean gently. Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry right away. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners and chemical solutions, which can crack or dull natural stones.
Store separately. Stones vary in hardness, so give each piece its own pouch to prevent scratches and chips.
